BF Bassett & Findley Ltd will control its activities to minimise the impact on the environment as far as is practicable. Responsibility for the environment is ranked equally with that for Health & Safety, production, sales and finance.
The objectives of the Policy are:-
- To promote standards of care for the environment that complies fully with the terms and requirements of the relevant and appropriate legislation.
- To promote and develop environmental awareness and individual responsibility for environmental matters for everyone in the company.
- To encourage full and effective consultation on environmental matters, and use of practices which prevent pollution.
- To provide information, instruction and the training required in caring for the environment.
- To prevent nuisance to the community and to avoid damage to the environment.
