With the use of CAD and 3D technology it is their role to convert our client’s concept into a cost effective design. Considerations for the CDM regulations have to be made at this early stage to ensure safe and easy installation and ongoing maintenance.

Continuous design development offers value for money to our customers and ensures our competitive position in the market place. If we can foresee and eliminate any problems in design, costly follow on mistakes for our customers are avoided.

Our contracts Managers provide important liaison with the Client, Contractor and Architect, to co-ordinate the appropriate activities ensuring target dates are met and completion dates achieved.

Each new project is allocated a design team, to include a Contracts Manager and Draughtsman to lead the metalwork project closely through to completion. With accurate and concise commercial reporting throughout, we aim to conclude financial matters swiftly to avoid ongoing costs for ourselves and our clients, both of whom are looking forward to the next project.

BF Bassett & Findley have nurtured the skills of our enthusiastic exceptional craftsmen in the techniques of Architectural Metalwork. All of our craftsmen are trained to accredited industry standards, and many of whom trained in our factory serving trade apprenticeship schemes. Our apprenticeship schemes are continuous and demonstrate our commitment to customer’s expectations of high standards and quality products.

In many instances the final metalwork product requires an input from a number of disciplines, including joiners, metal craftsmen, sheet metalwork and engineers. Our dedicated polishing shop ensures that our finishes are of the highest standards.

To ensure our efforts in production of metalwork are not compromised, our site installation teams are as dedicated to the projects as the factory craftsmen. Their appreciation for project value ensures that finished goods are handled with the care necessary to avoid costly damage and timely delays.

All of our installation teams also maintain the current Health & Safety Requirements of major sites, holding CSCS Cards IPAF Certificates and are PASMA trained.

Our teams travel throughout the UK and to other parts of Europe to install our products, necessitating thorough support and organisation.
