We are looking for a new member to join our team of architectural craftsmen. The ideal candidate needs to have a background in metal fabrication, fitting or sheet metal work. We use a variety of different materials to create a high-end product for our customers. While working to very close tolerances, a good eye for detail is required.

Responsibilities:

– Fabricate and assemble metal parts according to engineering specifications
– Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to cut, shape, and bend metal
– Operate sheet metal equipment and tooling to produce desired components
– Weld or join metal pieces together using various welding techniques
– Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

Qualifications:

– Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
– Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
– Experience in metal fabrication and working with sheet metal
– Knowledge of different welding techniques and ability to operate welding equipment
– Familiarity with hand tools and machinery used in metal fabrication processes

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday – 8:00am – 4:30pm

Friday – 7:00am – 2:30pm

Pay: £14.50-£15.75 per hour
